There will be a celebration of her life on Friday, May 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. The service will be at the Ingomar United Methodist Church on 1501 West Ingomar Rd., Pittsburgh, PA. Lunch will follow the service. Eleanor had requested that any memorial gifts be made to the Church.
A Celebration of Betty's life will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to North Hills Alliance Church, 2298 Rochester Rd,, Pittsburgh Pa 15237. Age 100 of Beaver, formerly of Wexford on Wednesday September 23, 2020; Widow of Edward Courtney; preceded in death by her step-daughter Terry Smith and five brothers and two sisters.

Great grandmother to 20 and great-great grandmother to 5, and a friend to many. Jeanne loved the Lord, her family and people in general. She was able to connect with people at a deeper level than most because of her genuine love for them. She had an outgoing personality, mixed with a sense of humor and a touch of “spunk” that made others feel welcome and safe in her presence.
After a household was reached, an adult respondent was randomly chosen for interviewing using the “last birthday method” to avoid biases in age and gender. Findings in this report are based on a survey of 1,715 California adult residents, including 1,263 interviewed on cell phones and 452 interviewed on landline telephones. The sample included 569 respondents reached by calling back respondents who had previously completed an interview in PPIC Statewide Surveys in the last six months. Interviews took an average of 19 minutes to complete. Interviewing took place on weekend days and weekday nights from October 14–23, 2022.

Being brought up in a military family allowed Robert and his brother Richard the opportunity to see and travel to many places around the world, and to experience the many different cultures. While being exposed to such diversity in his early life... James “Jim” Milton Braun, Jr., 67, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at his home with loved ones by his side while under the care of hospice. Jim was born July 19, 1955 in Savannah, Georgia to the late James Milton Braun, Sr. and Barbara Anne Braun. He was a resident of Liberty County and attended Bradwell Institute.
He attended Thetford Grammar School (1744–1749), at a time when there was no compulsory education. At the age of 13, he was apprenticed to his father. Following his apprenticeship, aged 19, Paine enlisted and briefly served as a privateer, before returning to Britain in 1759. There, he became a master staymaker, establishing a shop in Sandwich, Kent. Sean K. Connors, 46, of Rochester NH, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 after a period of failing health.

Clark, Robert Morse (“Bob”) Age 90, of McCandless Twp, on January 21, 2021 Formerly of Zelienople, PA and Lancaster, NY. Born and raised in Coudersport, PA, the son of Howard H. Clark and Dorothy Clark. Beloved husband of Eleanor “Liz” Clark for 68 years. Loving father of Linda Schmiedel of Wellsville, NY and David Clark of Wexford, PA. Wonderful Grandfather of Melanie Schmiedel, Jonathan Schmiedel, Brandon Schmiedel, Benjamin Clark, Matthew Clark, and Joseph Clark.
Beloved wife of 64 years to Jack F. Etzel; loving mother of Barbara Steinmetz , Mary Beth Herbert , Richard Etzel , Patti Kuhn and the late Jack R. Etzel. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Tyler, Erin, Matthew, Zoe, and Olivia. Loving sister of James Templin , Kathleen Riddle and the late Dolores Page; sister-in-law of Tom Page ; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was well known in Franklin Park and Ingomar for her daily walks to work, to the grocery store, and to church. After just six months from retiring from teaching, she took a job as a counter clerk at Ruby's Cleaners in Ingomar where she worked until she was 82. She enjoyed being able to see former kindergarteners and their parents at that job.
Jim is a graduate of North Catholic High School. He went on to Penn Tech and graduated with honors from Community College of Allegheny County. Likewise, he was a veteran of the United States Army Corps. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years in management and supervisory roles. He loved traveling and taking trips with his wife, Mary.
He will truly be missed by all who knew him.There is no visitation. A celebration of Kevin's life will be announced at a later date. Age 84, formerly of Town of McCandless, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday , January 2, 2021; She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years William C. Hunkele. She is survived by her daughters, Monique L. Hockman and Renee M. Havrilla and three grandchildren, Katherine E. Saunier , Elizabeth N. Shumaker and William T. Zierden. Charlotte was born in the North Hills of Pittsburgh in West View, to Elmer and Isabelle Guckert. She met her future husband, William, in grade school.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Dennis McNeil of the home; daughters, Christine Andrews of Thomasville and Leah Becker of Arkansas; sister,... Delmer Carmen Tackett, 92, of Trinity passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022, at his home. Born August 26, 1930, in Kanawha City, WV, a son of the late Joseph Tackett and the late Bertha McCormick Tackett. Delmer worked in the oil fields for twenty years and then worked for General Motors for twenty-eight years until retirement.
